922 – Dakota

The Dakota was commissioned in 1881 by Edward Clark, head of the Singer Sewing Machine Company.

The movie Help! ends with a dedication to “Elias Howe, who, in 1846, invented the sewing machine”.

Also, The Dakota was named a Historic Landmark on December 8th 1976
